a. Process 1:
The mud pump piston is separated with head and wing guide.
# The head is forged and the wing guide is made by investment casting.
# Connect the two parts by friction welding.
# Machined by CNC.
b. Process 2:
Our company have developed a new process to manufacture the Mud Pump Piston.
# We make the mud pump piston as a whole piece by investment casting.
# Machined by CNC.
It can shorten the process and avoid many problems caused by friction welding.

Carburizing

4) Surface Treatment
Black oxide coating

5) Checking:
Visual and CMM machine.
# By CMM we can achieve the high accuracy of geometric tolerance like concentricity, flatness and verticality.
