General Information

KYN28-24 armored withdrawable AC metal-enclosed switchgear is suitable for indoor three-phase 50/60HZ, rated voltage 24kV power systems. It is mainly used in power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises and high-rise buildings. Receive and distribute electrical energy and control, protect and monitor circuits.

KYN28-24 switchgear has various functions to prevent misoperation, including preventing the handcart from moving with load, preventing the grounding switch from closing the circuit breaker in the closed position, preventing the grounding switch from being powered on, and preventing accidentally entering the live compartment.

The switch equipment is equipped with VS1 and VN2 series medium-voltage AC vacuum circuit breakers and sealed vacuum switches with excellent performance. The secondary circuit of the switchgear is equipped with innovative and reliable control and protection components; the busbar adopts heat-shrinkable insulation material or oxygen-coated insulation means, the electrode shape is optimized, and the cabinet structure is compact. Usage Environment

1. Ambient temperature: maximum temperature +40ºC, minimum temperature -15ºC, and the average value measured within 24 hours does not exceed 35ºC.
2. Humidity conditions are as follows: the average daily relative humidity does not exceed 95%, the average daily water vapor pressure does not exceed 2.2kpa, and the average monthly water vapor pressure does not exceed 1.8kpa. Condensation may occasionally occur under such conditions.
3. The altitude does not exceed 1000m.
4. The surrounding air is not significantly contaminated by dust, smoke, corrosive and/or flammable gases, vapors or salt spray.
5. Vibration or ground motion from outside the switchgear and control equipment can be ignored.
6. The amplitude of electromagnetic interference induced in the secondary system does not exceed 1.6KV.
7. Special conditions of use: When used under normal environmental conditions that exceed those specified in GB/T11022, the company and the user can negotiate and reach an agreement on special operating conditions that exceed normal operating conditions. In order to prevent condensation, the switchgear is equipped with a heater, which should be put into use when the switchgear is in standby mode. Attention should also be paid to putting the heater into operation when the switchgear is operating normally.

Structure and Working Principle

KYN28-24 switchgear consists of two parts: the cabinet and the removable part (commonly known as the handcart). The cabinet is divided into multiple functional compartments with metal partitions, such as busbar room, circuit breaker room, cable room, relay instrument room, etc. The removable parts of the switchgear can be equipped with vacuum circuit breaker handcarts, voltage transformer handcarts, arrester handcarts, isolating handcarts and fuse handcarts, etc.
