Three-roll mills can be divided into two types: experimental three-roll mills and production three-roll mills. The three-roll mill is suitable for the manufacture of slurries such as paints, inks, pigments, and plastics.Three rollers are installed on the iron frame of the three-roll mill, and the center is in a straight line. It can be installed horizontally or slightly inclined.

The surface of the three horizontal rollers are pressed against each other, and then ground at different friction speeds. The steel drum can be hollow and cooled by water, and materials can be added between the middle roll and the rear roll.
