In a study published in J.Microbiol, compared to placebo, Probiotics HY7714 (10B CFU) increased skin water content in the face and hands, decreased transepidermal water loss, and improved wrinkle depth, skin gloss, and skin elasticity. The 12 weeks clinical trial was conducted in accordance with good clinical practice guidelines, and was approved by a local ethics committee (Dermapro Ltd. Institutional Review Board) (DICN14001).
A total of 110 (49 placebo group, average age 48.57± 4.52 years; 61 probiotic group, average age 49.82 ±4.96 years) of 129 female volunteers who were included in the study completed it.
