The wire thread insert is a new type of internal thread fastener. It is a helical coil precisely processed from high-strength, high-precision, and smooth-surfaced cold-rolled rhombic stainless steel wire, and is a concentric body of high-precision internal and external threads. After the wire thread insert is installed, a high-precision internal thread that conforms to international standards is formed, and its various performances are superior to the internal thread formed directly by tapping.
After the wire thread insert is installed, the tolerance of the threaded hole depends on the manufacturing tolerance of the wire thread insert profile and the tolerance zone of the threaded hole for installing the wire thread insert. The threaded tolerance of the installation hole mainly depends on the tapping accuracy of the installation hole for the wire thread insert. Usually, it forms a 6H grade, and when the accuracy is high, it can reach a tolerance zone of 5H or 4H grade. The user of the wire thread insert can select a special tap, tapping method (manual tapping, machine tapping), and lubrication method according to the required tolerance zone to ensure that the accuracy and any usage requirements you require are met.
