Sulfamic acid is a kind of be replaced by amino and hydroxyl of the sulfuric acid to form inorganic solid acid, molecular formula for NH2SO3H, molecular weight of 97.09, general for white, odourless rhombus crystal plate, relative density 2.126, melting point 205 ºC, soluble in water, liquid ammonia, at room temperature, as long as keep dry do not contact with water, solid sulfamic acid is not hygroscopic, stable. Aqueous solution of amino sulfonic acid has the same strong acid as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, so the nickname is also called solid sulfuric acid, it has the characteristics of non-volatilization, no odor and small toxicity to human body. Dust or solution is irritating to eyes and skin and can cause burns. The maximum allowable concentration is 10 mg/m3.
