The processing of idler shafts adopts a fully automatic processing production line, which can carry out automatic processing such as servo fixed-length cutting, turning end faces, chamfering, cutting circlip grooves, drilling center holes, and milling flat grooves for idler shafts. Among them, the shortest distance between the two milled flat grooves can be processed to 190 millimeters, and the longest workpiece length that can be processed is 2,200 millimeters.
All steel materials must be pre-treated to reach the St2-1/2 level. For structural components with a welded structure in the steel structure, they should meet the national welding standards, and the structure should conform to the latest national standards.
The idler is reasonably designed, convenient for replacement, and the welding is solid and durable. There will be no wear on the idler shell within the normal service life. The service life is not less than 40,000 hours.
The idler adopts special bearings for idlers and stamped bearing housings, with double-layer seals, featuring good sealing, low rotational resistance, and long service life. The idler bearings are Import well-known brand products.
The external dust-proof characteristics of the idler: comply with the provisions of MT821-1999; the waterproof performance of the idler: comply with the provisions of MT821-1999.
The straightening, pipe cutting, boring, stamping, welding, and assembly in the whole production process of idlers are realized through fully automatic production line operations.
Our company especially straightens the steel pipes. The ovality and straightness errors of the roller rings are reduced by about 50% compared with the MT821 standard. The simulated friction resistance coefficient of the idler is reduced from 0.025 to 0.023; the radial runout is improved from 1.0 mm to 0.35 mm; the straightness after straightening is improved from 1.0 mm to 0.20 mm; the axial load is greater than 15 KN specified in the MT821 standard, which makes the service life of the idler increase by one precision level, reaching more than 45,000 hours.
