The end cover design is typically matched to the diameter of the ball mill shell and secured to it by bolts or other means. On either side of the ball mill shell, there are inlet and outlet ports. The inlet port is used to introduce the material to be ground into the shell, while the outlet port is used to discharge the ground material.
