Marine SOLAS Approved Anti-Splashing Tape

Anti-Splashing Tape is wrapped on valve accessories and joints of pipelines (steam pipes, hot oil pipes, exhaust pipes, high-

temperature mufflers, etc.). It can prevent fires caused by high-pressure splashing of various fuel materials in the pipeline due to pipe

valve rupture. Widely used in ship engine rooms and other flange joints, valves, threaded connections of hydraulic pipeline systems

(fuel, lubricating oil). Wrapped on valve accessories and joints of pipelines (steam pipes, hot oil pipes, exhaust pipes, etc.). SOLAS

Convention requires in ‖-2/15.5.1, ‖-2/15.3 and ‖-2/15.4 that in order to avoid splashing of fuel, lubricating oil and other flammable

oils in pipeline systems, shielding or appropriate protective measures must be adopted. Anti-Splashing Tape can be applied to

accessory flanges or joints in the following scenarios:

1. Fuel injection pipe, fuel supply pipe, fuel cooling valve of oil pipe connected to diesel engine;

2 Steam pipe;

3 Hot oil pipe;

4 Exhaust pipe;

5 High temperature muffler;

6 The part of boiler that burns fuel oil, hot kerosene boiler, inert gas generator and incinerator;

Anti-Splashing Tape is suitable for pipes, valves, pressure gauges or any other auxiliary parts that are loose due to vibration, fatigue,

material deterioration, excessive tension, and are easily damaged by pinholes or cracks. Cover with this splash tape to protect

exhaust pipes and other high-temperature equipment from splashing combustible oil and prevent possible fires.
