Description
MBA is a modified bitumen base sheet consisting of styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) compound modified asphalt covering with different upper separated materials, no fiber and underside with silicone antisticking layer. According to different upper surface, it can beTWO types: HDPE film surfacing (MBA-CL) and aluminum film surfacing (MBA-S). There have TWO kinds of thickness: 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm.
 
Where to use
   Swimming pools, fire pools and reservoirs;
   Subways or tunnels;
   Open fires forbidden construction areas;
   MBA can be used in non exposed roofs and undergrounds;
   MBA can be used in all kinds of exposed roofs;
    MBA can be used as an auxiliary material or bonding material between two incompatible places.

Packaging
MBA material is packed in rolls with plastic bags.

 
Storage and Transportation
MBA material should be stored in well-ventilated shade place and protected from sun or rain. The temperature in stored places can not be higher than 50° C. It can not be put in more than two levels. If packed by cartons, it can not be put in more than five levels.
 
Application System
CANLON adhesive waterproof system includes substrate, primer, membrane waterproof underlayment, protection layer.
CANLON also provide a complete line of compatible accessories and components, including primers, pipe clamps, terminal battens and screws.
 
Surface Preparation
Surfaces should be dry, clean, smooth and free from any dusts, oil or loose particles. Cracks and uneven places need to be filled by polymer mortar.
 
Priming
Before membrane laying, substrate treating agent need to be brushed evenly and completely cover all laying places.
 
Membrane laying
After substrate treating agent drying, lay MBA material according to application designs.
 
Sealing, fixing and constraining on vertical surfaces
On vertical surfaces, fix with metal battens and seal with sealants for membranes.
 
Application on protection layer
After membrane laying, apply on protection layer according to waterproof layer design.
