It is a soft, conformable, non-woven pad or ribbon dressing composed of hydrocolloid fibers and enhanced fibers.
This conformable and highly absorbent dressing absorbs wound fluid and creates a soft gel, maintains a moist environment which supports the body's healing process and aids in the removal of unnecessary material from the wound (autolytic debridement), without damaging newly formed tissue.
High wet strength enables dressing removal in one piece, and ensures that the nursing staff can adjust the dressing position whenever necessary. It is also flexible to fill cavity wounds, with easy application and removal.
