Medical Sodium Hyaluronate, being animal-origin free and of high viscoelasticity, lubricity, physical alterability and good biocompatibility, it is medical polymer extracted and refined by high-tech bio-engineering from streptococcal fermentation metabolites. It is sterile, and free from pyrogenicity, allergy, genetic toxicity, or skin irritation.

1.Overview:
Sodium hyaluronate produced by fermentation cross-links with 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether in alkaline condition,and then the final product is produced after a series of neutralization and dialysis. 

2. Scope of application
Used as a joint function improving agent for joint lubrication and protection of articular cartilage, and assisting the treatment of osteoarthrosis.

Medical Sodium Hyaluronate is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of osteoarthritis of knee. By replacing and supplementing the pathological synovial fluid in the osteoarthritic joints, it reduces pain and improves joint function.

1.Form complex with protein and cover the surface of articular cartilage for protection. This product has the function of lubrication and buffering.
2. Reduce or eliminate arthralgia with the connection with pain receptor or mass molecular medium.
3. Restrain arthralgia caused by inflammatory mediator, such as bradykinin.
4. Restrain articular cartilage from cataplasia, and prevent from adhesion and contracture.
5. Promote synoviocytes to excrete more sodium hyaluronate and resume natural biochemical component of joint fluid.
6. Prevent tendon from adhesion.

• Medical Sodium Hyaluronate is administered by intra-articular injection. Asceptic injection procedure shall be followed.
• Fix a suitable gauge to the syringe luer-lock.
• The required amount of product is injected into the selected joint space. The administration of Medical Sodium Hyaluronate should be performed only by trained specialists.
• If joint effusion is present, it should be aspirated before injection.
• Discard the syringe and needle after single use. The dosage regimen is injecting into the affected synovial joint space just once.

• Strict aseptic administration technique must be followed. Free from Cross infection;
• The pre-filled syringe is intended for single use. The contents of the syringe must be used immediately after the packaging is opened. Discard any unused Medical Sodium Hyaluronate. Do not use if the blister package has been opened or damaged, or if there are cracks or breakage in the pre-filled syringe;
• Must not be in contact with drugs containing benzalkonium chloride in order to avoid chaos;
• Must not inject Medical Sodium Hyaluronate intravascularly;
• Must not inject extra-articularly or into the synovial tissue and capsule;
• Removejoint effusion, if present, before injecting Medical Sodium Hyaluronate;
• Avoid concomitantly using disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts for skin preparation because sodium hyaluronate can precipitate in their presence.
