Main Function Principles
1. lt has rich cellular structure and strong and rapid liquid absorption amount.
2. Gel is formed on the wound after liquid absorption to keep the wound moist.
3. lt has the ability to retain exudate in situ, i.e. the function of "locking water".
4. The surface of the product can be covered with semi-permeable polyurethanefilm, which is waterproof and breathable and can block invasion of externalbacteria, foreign matters and the like.
5. lt has softness, elasticity and compliance characteristics to prevent the woundfrom being pressed.

Silicone gel foam dressings have a five-layer structure:
1. Silicone gel layer
2. Foam absorbent layer
3. One-way flow layer
4. Highly absorbent liquid storage layer
5. Semi-permeable membrane layer

Instruction of use
The procedure for applying a foam dressing is as follows:
- Put on gloves.
- Clean the wound area with saline solution.
- Dry the skin around the wound with sterile gauze.
- Apply a foam dressing which extends a minimum of one inch beyond the edges of the wound.
- If the dressing does not have an adhesive border, you may need to apply a secondary dressing or use wrap or tape to hold it in place.
- When changing the dressing, peel off the foam dressing carefully, clean the wound and apply a new foam dressing.
