The metal C-shaped sealing ring (C-shaped outer opening) with an outer opening is suitable for external pressure or internal vacuum conditions.
C-shaped ring is a typical type of self sealing structure. When in operation, the medium pressure enters the interior of the C-shaped ring, producing a pressure self tightening effect on the C-shaped sealing ring from the inside out.
That is, the higher the system pressure, the better the sealing effect.Due to the principle of opening and self sealing, only the elasticity of the sealing ring itself needs to be overcome during installation, so there is no need to use a large pre tightening force to achieve ideal sealing effect
