The Split Set bolt is driven into a slightly smaller hole using same percussion drill which made the hole. Various male and female driver tools are available to fit all drifters, pneumatic or hydraulic hammers, and all Split Set models. ZongXiang is supplying typical long- nose or short nose drivers, rope- threaded drivers, covering the mining industry or civil construction needs.
We manufacture split set driver tools for split sets and friction bolts. Standard split set driver tools are available in SS-33 driver tool, SS-39 driver tool, SS-46 driver tool. We have the capability to make special order split set drivers to meet our customer's needs. We are happy to manufacture large or small orders.
A simple split set driver tool adapts the drill for easy stabilizer insertion. One end fits the tube; the other fits the drill chuck or drill steel. All genuine Split Set driver tools are made of high-strength heat-treated alloy steel, designed for long life, and precision-made for the proper fit. For jackleg or stoper insertion, a long-nose or short-nose driver tool may be used.The short-nose tool is also used for driving an Split Set utility hanger inside an installed Split Set stabilizer. Rope-threaded drivers are available to fit drill steel for jumbos and bolters, and for long reach with jacklegs and stopers.
