Huilink Polyester Tape is a general purpose polyester tape that excels in high temperature masking operations such as powder coat painting. The tape is coated with a silicone adhesive that adheres to a variety of difficult surfaces. It is chemically resistant and functions in a wide range of temperatures and environments. Huilink Polyester Tape removes cleanly from a variety of surfaces.
Huilink Polyester Tape is a general purpose polyester tape ideal for masking in high temperature applications. The translucent green backing is tear-resistant. Coated with a silicone adhesive, this tape masks powder coatings well to provide crisp paint lines. It removes cleanly in one piece from most surfaces, avoiding chipping and breaking. This tape is a thicker version of Huilink polyester tape. With excellent chemical resistance, the tape works effectively in chemical processes and harsh working conditions such as anodizing. Pressure sensitive silicone adhesives work in a wide range of temperatures from -60°F to 400°F.
Applications
Edge reinforcement for component packaging and electrical insulation, books, coils, etc.
For masking bonded seams during metal bonding
Protects surfaces from splash and chemical fumes during tin/lead stripping and gold flake plating.
Suitable for photo processing chemicals, acids, oils, solvents, aging, water immersion and staining.
For splicing siliconized paper, film and non-woven materials during processing.
