Product Description
The difference between polyester yarn and nylon yarn is:
1. With different specific gravity, polyester silk fabric is not easy to wrinkle, and is crisp, with good dimensional stability and shape retention. However, nylon yarn has poor shape retention, is not as crisp as polyester yarn, and is easy to deform.
2. The melting point of polyester yarn is 260°C, and the ironing temperature can be 180°C. However, the heat resistance of nylon yarn is not good enough, and the ironing temperature should be controlled below 140°C.
3. Nylon yarn has good low temperature resistance, good elastic recovery ability, excellent wear resistance, and better hygroscopicity and dyeability than polyester yarn.
4. Polyester yarn is resistant to sunlight, acid but not alkali, nylon colored yarn is alkali resistant but not acid resistant, and has poor light resistance. Long-term exposure to sunlight will reduce the fiber strength and turn yellow in color. Nylon yarn has a smoother hand feel and higher surface gloss, and is widely used in sportswear, swimwear, bodybuilding clothes, and socks.
