What`s Catalytic Converter
A catalytic converter is a device that uses a catalyst to convert three harmful compounds in car exhaust into harmless compounds.The three harmful compounds are:
-Hydrocarbons VOCs (in the form of unburned gasoline, produce smog)
-Carbon monoxide CO (is a poison for any air-breathing anima)
- Nitrogen oxides NOx (lead to smog and acid rain)

How does catalytic converter work
In a catalytic converter, the catalyst (in the form of platinum and palladium) is coated onto a ceramic honeycomb or ceramic beads that are housed in a muffler-like package attached to the exhaust pipe. The catalyst helps to convert carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide(CO to CO₂ ). It converts the hydrocarbons into carbon dioxide(CO₂ ) and water. It also converts the nitrogen oxides back into nitrogen and oxygen.

Our NES serial motor use metallic substrate catalyst adopts FeCrAl heat resistant metal substrate and originally imported coating material. The special coating technic makes the catalyst well combinded with the substrate and prolong the lifetime of the catalyst substrate. Our catalyst substrate can effectively reduce the CO,HC,NO_X  of the motor exhaust and make the emission to meet Euro III standard.
Initial Purifying rate : CO/CH >90%; NOx >80%
Purifying rate after 100hrs quick aging test:      CO/CH >75%; NOx >60%
Burning temperature: CO T₅₀  below 220  CH NO_X T₅₀  below 250
