Muscovite Mica RollMica Roll consists of phlogopite mica paper (or synthetic mica paper / calcined mica paper) impregnated with a special silicone resin on glass cloth (or biologic / harmless ceramic ) depending on application. The product has great flexibility and high tensile strength and can be used to create inorganic, fire-resistant insulation for fire resistant cables.

The mica paper produced by our company for the lining of the intermediate frequency furnace is mainly used between the refractory mud on the inner wall of the induction coil of the intermediate frequency electric furnace and the furnace wall. Unlike the raw material asbestos cloth, it has the advantages of good insulation performance, thin thickness, and easy replacement of the lining (using top furnace equipment, easy to fall off better). Combining high temperature strength and toughness, on-site operation and construction are extremely convenient, especially suitable for medium frequency electric furnaces used in the casting and metallurgical industries for melting steel. It can be combined with acidic (quartz sand), alkaline (magnesia) or neutral (alumina) refractory ramming materials to form a complete refractory insulation lining with mica paper and coil refractory mud.
