Cellulose fiber is a kind of short fiber with high strength and fine denier. It is extracted from special plants and has natural hydrophilicity. It has a goodaffinity with cement and other hydrates in concrete and can form a better bond with concrete. Because the fiber is very short and has the characteristic of small diameter of single filament, the distribution quantity in unit volume is larger, which improves the crack resistance of concrete.
