Pineapple Sliver Characteristics:

Our pineapple fiber and yarn production line was operated in 2016 as one of our latest green products,the raw materia is extracted from the pineapple leaves, belong to the leaf hemp fiber. and imported from Philippines, Pineapple fibers are made up of a number of fiber bundles, each consisting of 10-20 monofilament cells. Fiber surface rough, with longitudinal cracks and holes, horizontal branches, no natural twist. Monofibrous cells are cylindrical, both ends is tip, the surface is smooth with linear in the cavity. Through the biological scoured process to get rid of the gum, hemicellulose, xylogen and fructose to get the final pineapple cellulose fiber as textile used material.the appearance of textile pineapple fiber is beige, usually blend with natural fiber, has a better bactericidal effect than banana fiber. 

After deep processing, pineapple fiber has a white appearance, soft and smooth, strong moisture resistance, good moisture absorption and moisture permeability. It is rich in vitamin C and many other elements that are beneficial to the human body. It has strong natural bactericidal, antibacterial and deodorizing properties. It has a strong killing effect on our most representative, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. It can effectively kill bacteria, inhibit the growth of fungi and microorganisms, and has natural and excellent properties such as mildew resistance, ultraviolet resistance and static electricity. Its physical properties are similar to those of flax and ramie, and are superior to sisal and jute. Besides, pure pineapple yarn is easy to dye in regular dyeing process.
