Why need to add Long carbon fiber to pa6 resin?

What is the difference between long fiber and short fiber reinforced plastic?
Compared with ordinary short fiber reinforced thermoplastic materials, the fiber length in ordinary short fiber reinforced thermoplastic materials is less than 1-2 mm, and the thermoplastic engineering plastics produced by the long fiber process have been able to maintain the fiber length above 5-25 mm. The long fiber is impregnated with a special resin system by a special abrasive tool to obtain a long strip fully saturated with resin, and then cut into the required length according to demand. Most adoption is PP matrix resin, is actually the PA6, PA66, PPA, PA12, MXD6, PBT, PET, TPU, PPS, PEEK, etc.

Drying treatment of injection:
If the humidity is greater than 0.05%, it is recommended to dry in hot air above100- 120° C for 4-6 hours.
Melting temperature:
240-270° C for enhanced varieties.
