Applications:
Nitric aci is a strong oxidizing acid that corrodes most metals. High concentrations of nitric acid have a passivating effect on metals. Nitric acid is used to clean carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, and equipment composed of carbon steel and stainless steel. It can remove scale and rust, and has good solubility for a-Fez 03 and magnetic Fe3 04. In the biological wastewater treatment process, it can be used as a nitrogen source for microbial nutrients. In addition, nitric acid is widely used in the manufacture of fertilizers, chemical fibers, medicines, dyes, rubber, etc. It is also an indispensable and important analytical chemical reagent in the defense industry, metallurgical industry, printing and dyeing industry and other industrial sectors.
