Various Applications of Microscopic Digital Camera
Various image sensors are needed to deal with modern microscopic observation problems. Imaging under low intensity illumination (e.g. fluorescence) requires very sensitive sensors. Monochrome sensors are used for such applications.
Best choice. For infrared image acquisition, monochrome sensors with special filters are very suitable for near infrared imaging through silicon thin films.

XM10-IR is a high sensitivity monochrome camera with a refrigerated 1.4 million pixel CCD. The camera has spectral sensitivity from visible light to 1050 nm and is an ideal choice for near infrared imaging through silicon thin films. This kind of camera uses 14-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), which can be used when the gray value is very important.
