The basic principle of quantum electric arc furnaces
The preheating shaft of the Quantum electric arc furnace is carried out by means of a scrap hoist mounted on the roof of the furnace to lift the tilting chute, which is automatically filled by the rectangular scrap basket that has been installed in advance in the scrap yard, and the scrap charging operation is fully automated. The preheated scrap is added to the molten pool in batches, and the scrap is melted by the input electricity and the oxygen blown in by 2 top guns. The furnace shell itself can tilt steel or slag driven by 4 hydraulic cylinders, while the lid and shaft furnace are fixed.
The slagging material can be added through the furnace cover, and the alloy material is added to the ladle when the steel is discharged.

1.2 Finger scrap holding system
The fingers are completely withdrawn from the shaft furnace when loading. The surface of the finger is protected by a special steel plate that can withstand the mechanical impact caused by the charge.

Slag-free steel system, the outlet filling operation can be carried out during the energization period, and the steel outlet can also be carried out during the energization. Therefore, the preparation time per furnace (de-energization time for steel output, loading, filling of the steel outlet, etc.) of the burner in the slag-free steel zone is only about 4 minutes.

The electrode lifting system and carbon oxygen gun are installed on a fixed bench, and can be tilted at the same time as the furnace shell, which can quickly replace the furnace shell, reduce the action of the furnace body, and reduce the difficulty of system maintenance operation.
