Oxytetracycline Injection 5%

Composition:

Oxytetracycline

Indications:

Treatment of diseases caused by Oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms in cattle, sheep, and goats. Diseases include pneumonia, shipping fever complex, infectious bovine kerato-conjunctivitis, foot rot, diphtheria, bacterial enteritis, wooden tongue, leptospirosis, wound infections, and acute metritis.

Dosage and Administration:

For cattle: Bronchopneumonia, respiratory infections, gastrointestinal infections, metritis, mastitis, septicaemia, puerperal infections, secondary bacterial infections.

For sheep and goats: Respiratory, urogenital, gastrointestinal infections, mastitis, infected wounds.

Administer by deep intramuscular injection at a dose of 20mg/kg bodyweight.

Withdrawal Period:

Meat and edible tissues: 14 days

Milk: 3 days

Warnings:

Maximum injection volume: 20ml for cattle, 5ml for sheep and goats.

Do not dilute the drug.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place under 25 degrees Celsius, away from light.

Packing:

Available in 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml vials.
