Fluoroadditive TP300 is a white PTFE powder specialized for use as an additive toimpart low surface energy and other fluoropolymer attributesTP300 may improve the wearresistance of thermoplastics or coating materials and enhance their nonstick, lubricityand antifriction properties, Added to lubricants, it can enhance performance under severeconditions.TP300 can be used at temperature from -190C to 300C(-310Fto 572F).TP300 is generally designed to used as an additive, although it can also be usedalone as a dry lubricants. lt is unsuitable to be used as a molding or extrusion resin toreplace for any of the high molecular weight PTFE resin.TP300 is inert to all chemicals and solvent, lt is a good electrical insulator, does notabsorb water, and is highly resistant to weathering.
Applications
TP300 is used as an additive in plastics to improve nonstick performance andenhance frictional characteristics. The tendency for surface blemishes to appear ininjection molded thermoplastic parts is minimize with TP300.(at up to about 20% byweight).Plastics can be benefit in this manner including polycarbonates, polyacetals.polyamides, polyesters, polysulfides and polyfulfones. TP202 is inert to all chemicals andsolvent. It is a good electrical insulator, does not absorb water, and is highly resistant toweathering.

TP300 is packaged in 25-kg drum. Eight drums are packaged on one pallet for easyshipping, handling and storage.

Before using TP300 please read the Material Safety Data Sheet carefully.Open and use containers only in well-ventilated areas using local exhaust ventilationVapor and fumes liberated during hot processing, or from smoking tobacco or cigarettescontaminated with TP300,may cause flu-like symptoms(chill, fever, sore throat).Vapor andfumes liberated during hot processing should be exhausted completely from work area.Contamination of tobacco with TP300 should be avoided.Mixtures with some finely divided metals, such as magnesium or aluminum, can beflammable or explosive under some conditions.
