White minute powder, easy to absorb moist, soapy feeling, combustive, innocuous, specific gravity 1.095/cm3 , melting point: ≥118ºC,insoluble in water,ethanol, soluble in hot organic solvent and acid. It will decompose with strong acid into stearic acid and zinc salt.
