Nidec Kds Traction Machine: WJC-A (480/520mm Sheave) Series
Magnetic synchronous gearless traction machine is composed of magnetic synchronous motor, sheave, and break system. It operates and changes speed through a closed-loop control by an Encoder. Compared with traditional traction machine, it features with higher efficiency, lower starting current, bigger starting torque, and smoother operation. As magnet materials are used, it is small in size and light in weight; Through a gearless reducer, it operates with lower noise and higher reliability.
