Product Description
Dipropylene glycol is the ideal solvent for many flavors, fragrances and cosmetic applications. This raw material has good water, oil and hydrocarbon solubility, and has a slight odor, little skin irritation and low toxicity. The isomer distribution is uniform and the quality is excellent.
Dipropylene glycol is mainly used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, shellac varnish, cellulose acetate, etc. It is also used in the preparation of unsaturated polyester resins, plasticizers, synthetic detergents.
Dipropylene glycol finds many uses as a plasticizer, an intermediate in industrial chemical reactions, as a polymerization initiator or monomer, and as a solvent. Its low toxicity and solvent properties make it an ideal additive for perfumes and skin and hair care products. It is also a common ingredient in commercial fog fluid, used in entertainment industry fog machines.
Diropylene glycol fragrance grade, referred to as LO+, is a high-purity product suitable for flavors, fragrances and cosmetics that are sensitive to odors. This raw material is a distillation product, the main component of which is dipropylene glycol, with a purity of more than 99.5%, which itself is actually an odorless, colorless, water-soluble and hygroscopic liquid. Dipropylene glycol LO+ has a low vapor pressure and medium viscosity.
Diropylene Glycol LO+ has good viscosity and hygroscopicity, and is widely used in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
