Product Description
Perilla frutescens (L.) Britt. is an annual herb of Perilla genus in Labiatae. Stems 0.3-2 m high, green or purple, obtuse quadrangular, 4-grooved, densely villous. Leaves broadly ovate or round, 7-13 cm long, 4.5-10 cm wide, apex mucronate or acute, 7-8 pairs of lateral veins, those located at the lower part are slightly close, obliquely ascending; The petiole is 3-5 cm long, with flat back and abdomen, densely villous. Cymes 2-flowered, 1.5-15cm long, densely villous, terminal and axillary racemes biased to one side; Bracts broadly ovoid or suborbicular, about 4 mm long and wide, apex mucronate, covered with reddish brown glandular spots, glabrous, margin membranous; Pedicel 1.5 mm long, densely pilose.
