Product name: procaine penicillin& dihydrostreptomycin sulphate injection
Main Composition: Each 1ml contain
procaine penicillin G 200mg
dihydrostreptomycin sulphate. 250mg
Indication: The combination of penicillin and dihydrostreptomycin is especially useful in the
treatment of mixed infections involving both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms.use in cattle, horsesand sheep for the treatment of infections caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to Penicillin and/or Streptomycin including
Pneumonia, secondary infection caused by virus disease. Breathing difficulties, anoxic cyanosis, cough,
Endometritis, mastitis, urogenital tract infections, trauma, surgery and young animal castration
infection. enteritis associated with Salmonella spp.,salmonellosis;
Dosage and usage: Administering 1ml Pen & Strep per 25kg bodyweight. The dose should be given once daily by deep intramuscular injection for up to three consecutive days. The maximum dose volume administered at one site should not
exceed 15ml for horses, 6ml for cattle, 3ml for sheepand Goat.
Withdrawal time:
Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Sheep, Milk: Not to be used in sheep producing
milk for human consumption.
Sheep, Meat: 31 days. Cattle, Milk: 60 hours. Cattle, Meat: 23 days.
