Main application:
1.After being pressed into tablets as disintegrating agent, cross-linked povidone has high hardness, short disintegrating time and high dissolution rate. Strong stability, does not change over time.
2.Crosslinked povidone can also be used as a dry binder, filler and excipient for tablets, capsules and granulates. Its smaller size can reduce the one-sided speckles in the pressed tablets and improve the uniformity of the tablets. The usual dosage is 20-80mg/ tablet.
3.Cross-linked povidone can also be used as a dissolution accelerator. The co-evaporation technique increases the solubility of insoluble drugs by first adsorbing the drug to the cross-linked povidone with the appropriate solvent and then evaporating the solvent, which results in a faster dissolution rate.
The finished products should be sealed and stored in a cool and dry place.
