Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a plant-derived powder widely used in pharmaceuticals as a binder, filler, and disintegrant in tablets - essentially holding them together during manufacturing yet allowing them to break apart in the body to release medication.
Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is widely used in pharmaceutical preparations, as the diluent and adhesives, lubricant agent and disintegration, mainly in oral tablet and capsule. It's not only used in wet granulation, but also in direct compression tablet.
