Dimethyl ether, an organic compound, is a colorless odor flammable gas in its standard state, with the formula C2H6O.
When mixed with air, it can form an explosive mixture, which can easily burn and explode in contact with heat, sparks, flame or oxidants. Contact with air or under light conditions can produce potentially explosive dangerous peroxide, denser than air, can spread to a considerable distance at a lower place, in the event of fire will catch fire back. In case of high heat, the pressure inside the container increases, and there is a risk of cracking and explosion.
