EPS foam board -- also known as polystyrene foam board, EPS board is made of hair - able polystyrene beads containing volatile liquid foaming agent. It is a white object heated and formed in the mold after pre-heating. It has the structure characteristics of fine closed pores, etc.
Mainly used for building walls, roof insulation, composite board insulation, cold storage, air conditioning, vehicles, ships heat insulation, floor heating, decoration and sculpture.
The density of EPS by the forming stage of the polystyrene particle expansion multiples determined, generally between 10~45kg/m3, as the engineering used in the EPS apparent density general in 15~30kg/m3.At present, in road engineering as a light-weight packing EPS density of 20kg/m3, for the common road packing 1%~2%.Density is an important index of EPS, and almost all its mechanical properties are proportional to its density.
