| Woven Polyester Fabric Polyester filter and dust collection fabrics have very good resistance to chemicals, abrasion and dry heat degradation, plus excellent dimensional stability. Typical applications include dust collection, particularly in the cement industry; acid refining of ore; anode bags for electroplating; tubular battery separation fabrics. Polyester Filtering Fabrics Series, which made of polyester fiber (PET), can be divided into PE staple fabrics, PE long thread fabrics, and PE monofilament fabrics. These products possess the properties of strong acid-resistance, fair alkali-resistance, and good performance at the temperature of less 130ºC. HEAT RESISTANCE: 300°F Polypropylene Fabrics Series, which made of polypropylene fiber (PP), can be divided into PP staple fabrics, PP long thread fabrics, and PP monofilament fabrics. This woven fiber is widely chosen for its lightness, high strength and excellent resistance to most acids and alkalis. The sleekness of the fiber allows for excellent cake release. Since its moisture absorption is virtually nil, polypropylene is a good choice for an application such as dye production, where pigment changes can be made with only a light wash between batches. A latex border can be applied to the individual cloths to provide greater gasketing and sealing properties during the operation. |
