Polyurethane thickener
It is a modified polyurethane thickener, which is a trend of perfect water-based non-ionic synergistic rheological modifier, excellent high shear viscosity distribution, both on the paint film internal water resistance, color extension and other properties, or the tank opening effect, smoothness and other properties outside the system, have very excellent performance. Polyurethane thickeners improve the rheological and leveling properties of waterborne coatings by improving high shear viscosity and inhibiting low shear viscosity, giving them a rheological energy similar to solvent-type alkyd coatings. Compared with the traditional water-based thickener, the thickening system is improved in terms of film formation, brushability, and apparent performance.
Polyurethane thickener can be compatible with the base material commonly used in latex paint, and it has better water resistance and scrub resistance than the cellulose thickener. In the high-light emulsion paint system, using a polyurethane thickener gets a higher luster than using a polyacrylate or a cellulose thickener. Recommends Using Methods
Usage: 0.1-1.0%
Add method: press 1:1 or 1:3 mixed with water to stir evenly, in the paint production grouting stage or paint making stage slowly add.
Product matching: good compatibility with cellulose, alkali swelling and association type thickener.
Additive Amount
The added amount of polyurethane thickener depends on the rheological product composition required by the system, most of the added amount is 0.2-2.0%, and the best added amount depends on the specific situation.
Dilution method
Add to the pigment grinding slurry: can be mixed with other liquid components in the grinding slurry
During or after paint transfer stage: recommended after dilution with water or water / glycol mixture, recommended dilution ratio:

Condition of Storage
This product must be at 4ºC (40. F) For the above storage, in case of freezing, mild thawing, and apply the thawing liquid on the glass plate to check, check whether there are particles, such as found problems, do not use.
