Functional characteristics of boiler tube fins:
1. Increase heating area: Ingeniously designed fins amplify the surface area on the tube's exterior, enabling the smoke traversing between them to efficiently conduct heat to the medium inside the tube, typically steam. This innovative design remarkably boosts the heat transfer capacity per unit volume.
2. Improve heat transfer efficiency: By expanding the heating area, the fins directly correlate with an elevated heat transfer coefficient, facilitating a faster and more efficient heat transfer process. This enhancement is pivotal for maintaining optimum boiler efficiency and precise steam temperature control.
3. Diverse structural forms: Our fins are available in various structural configurations, including spiral shapes that tightly encircle the steel pipe, secured by high-frequency welding for durability. Alternatively, they are available as independent circular sheets, which may reduce dust accumulation and dead corners in certain applications.
4. Membrane wall application: In water-cooled wall structures, the use of finned tubes in what is known as a 'membrane wall' not only expands the heating surface but also enhances sealing performance, minimizes air leakage, and significantly improves the boiler's overall thermal efficiency.
