Disposable Nasopharyngeal Airway
The Nasopharyngeal Airway is commonly used to secure an open airway in general anesthesia and emergency situations. It is for single use and is available in a variety of sizes.
When a patient becomes unconscious, the muscles in the jaw commonly relax and can allow the tongue to slide back and obstruct the airway. This makes airway management necessary. The purpose of the flared end is to prevent the device from becoming lost inside the patient's nose.
The Nasopharyngeal Airway is soft and flexible. The soft rounded tip allows for gentle insertion, is biocompatible, and is latex-free.

Trumpet type
