Polarography: In the electrode, there is a platinum rod as the cathode and a silver tube as theanode. The electrolyte is Potassium chloride solution, The outer surface of the cathode iscovered with an oxygen permeable film: The film can be made of polytetrafluoroethylenebreathable material. When a polarization voltage of 0.5-1.5V is applied between the anodeand cathode electrodes, and dissolved oxygen reaches the cathode surface through the thinfilm, the following reaction occurs on the electrodeCathode reduced: O,+2H,O+4e4OHAnode oxidation: 4CI ~ +4Ag ~ 4e-4AgCIAs long as the Diffusion current is measured, the solubility of dissolved oxygen can bemeasured, in order to eliminate the influence of temperature, salinity, air pressure and otherfactors, relevant technologies are used for compensation.
