Material: Titanium
Features- Manufactured from high-strength medical-grade titanium for durability and biocompatibility.
- Designed with 3, 4, and 5-hole configurations for flexible screw placement and optimized fracture fixation.
- Compatible with HA 4.5 mm and HB 6.5 mm half-thread, locking screws 5.0 mm and 7.0 mm.
- Anatomically contoured to fit the lateral aspect of the proximal femur, reducing the need for intraoperative bending.
- Polished surface for reduced soft tissue irritation and enhanced corrosion resistance.
- Radiolucent properties ensure accurate imaging post-surgery.
Intended Use
The Proximal Lateral Femoral Locking Plate (5.0/7.0) is intended for the fixation of fractures, osteotomies, and nonunions of the proximal lateral femur, providing rigid stabilization during the healing process.Indications
- Proximal femoral fractures
- Comminuted fractures of the lateral femur
- Osteotomies of the proximal femur
- Nonunions and malunions of the femur
- Post-traumatic deformities requiring lateral femoral support
Contraindications
- Active infection or inflammation at the surgical site
- Severe osteoporosis or inadequate bone quality
- Known allergies to titanium or implant materials
- Inadequate bone support for screw fixation
- Skeletally immature patients
