Paper Wet Strength Agent -Longpaper P213
Features: Enhances wet tensile strength by forming covalent bonds with cellulose fibers during drying.
Compatible with high-salinity or anionic pulp systems.
Minimal impact on paper softness and absorbency.
Synergistic effects with AKD sizing agents and rosin emulsifiers.
Properties: Appearance: Pale yellow to amber clear liquid.
pH: 2.0-6.0 (1% solution)
Density: 0.9-1.1 g/cm3
Viscosity: 20-100 mPa.s (25oC)
Solid content: 12.5 ± 1 %
Ionicity: Cationic
Solubility: Fully miscible in water.
Guidelines:
Dilute with water at a 1:10 to 1:20 ratio (product) under continuous agitation.
Continuous dosing via metering pump into the stock flow (e.g., headbox, mixing chest).
Post-refining addition recommended for optimal fiber retention.
Curing Conditions:
Temperature: >105°C (typical drying cylinder temperature).
Reactivity: Thermosetting activated by heat during paper machine drying.

Tissue: 8 - 12 kg/ton Machine chest post-refining
Kraft packaging: 20 - 35 kg/ton Headbox inlet (0.5-1% dilution)
Specialty papers: 5 -15 kg/ton Blend with retention aids

Shipping & handling: Package: 200kg PP drum or 1000kg IBCs.
Container load: 22MT/20ft.(IBC)
Storage: Keep in sealed UV-resistant containers, cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight.

Health & safety: PPE Requirements: Wear nitrile gloves, chemical-resistant goggles, and protective clothing.
First Aid:
Eye Contact: Flush immediately with water for ≥15 minutes; seek medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water; remove contaminated clothing.
