Coriolis mass flowmeter is a device that directly measures mass flow by utilizing the principle of Coriolis force proportional to mass flow rate generated by fluid flow in a vibrating pipeline. It consists of a flow detection element and a converter. The Coriolis mass flowmeter enables direct measurement of mass flow rate, with high accuracy, the ability to measure multiple media and multiple process parameters, and is widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food.
1. The Coriolis mass flowmeter directly measures mass flow and has high measurement accuracy.
2. It can measure a wide range of fluids, including various liquids with high viscosity, slurries containing solids, liquids containing trace gases, and medium to high pressure gases with sufficient density.
3. The vibration amplitude of the measuring tube is small and can be regarded as a non moving part. There are no obstacles or moving parts in the measuring pipeline.
4. Not sensitive to the distribution of upstream flow velocity, therefore there is no requirement for upstream and downstream straight pipe sections.
5. The measured value is not sensitive to fluid viscosity, and the influence of fluid density changes on the measured value is minimal.
6. It can be used for multi parameter measurement, such as measuring density at the same time, and deriving the concentration of solutes in the measurement solution from it.
