What makes BST Cashmere so special is that we are in complete control of the entire process from source to finished product. Our cashmere can be traced back to the herders who graze their goats on the vast steppes of Mongolia. We understand that the quality of cashmere varies from region to region and have set strict quality standards for the color, fineness and length of the fibers we collect. We are familiar with every step of the production process and therefore take care in every step of washing, spinning and finishing.
Inner Mongolia has unique natural climate and geographical advantages. Each Spring, we trek across the high plateaus and grasslands of Inner Mongolia to meet the nomadic goatherds where produce the finest cashmere in the world since to face the freezing cold sometimes reaching minus forty degrees in winter, the goats have developed, under a long and thick hair a precious fluff that protects them from cold temperatures, wind and rain. This natural protection moults naturally when Springs comes along with the onset of sunny days. Following seasons, the shepherds carefully pick the fibers following conventional methods and brushing techniques, and these fibers will then become the raw material for BST Cashmere.
