EN19 AISI 4140 42CrMo4 is a alloy structural steel, which is used for engineering structural, like high tensile shafts, bolts and nuts, gears, pinions and spindles. Locomotive traction with the big gear, supercharger drive gear, pressure vessel, rear axle, gear load of connecting rod and a spring clip.

4.Heat Treatment for 4140 steel round bars
4140 alloy steel material is a high quality Quenched and Tempered Alloy Structural steel, It belong to the high quality medium carbon alloy steel, Oil Quenched & Tempered Hardenss is 28-34 HRC.4140 Annealing delivery hardenss less than 250HB
Heat treatment of aisi 4140 steel
Annealing
AISI 4140 alloy steel is annealed at 872°C (1600°F) followed by slowly cooling in the furnace.
Tempering
AISI 4140 alloy steel can be tempered at 205 to 649°C (400 to 1200°F) depending upon the desired hardness level. The hardness of the steel can be increased if it has lower tempering temperature
Hardening
AISI 4140 alloy steel can be hardened by cold working, or heating and quenching.
5.Packing and Delivery
Packing Details:
1.One bundle including one heat no., one size only.
2.Bundle weight 2 tons to 4tons.
3.At least 3-4 metal straps on each bundle to make it strong enought by loading and unloading.
4.Each bundle should carry label which will show the heat number, size, quantity in pcs, weight , origin or as your requirements.
5.One bundle includes one heat number steel bars only.

2.One 20' container can load max 27tons, 40' container can load max 28.5tons, and bulk vessel doesn't have limit for weights.
3.We can load max length of 6000mm to 20' container, and 12000mm length to 40' containers, and bulk vessel doesn't have limit for lenths
