1. Product description
Stainless steel mesh is wire mesh, which is produced using weaving technology specially adapted to the material. The wires used can have a diameter of 12 µm to 7 mm, depending on the stainless steel alloy.
In industry, stainless steel mesh is mainly used in filtration and separation technology.
The stainless steel alloys used are crucial in determining the fields of use in terms of corrosion, temperatures and strengths. The currently available materials made of stainless steel and its alloys can be used in extremely corrosive environments as well as in applications exposed to very high temperatures.2. 1. [ Plain Weave ]: also called tabby weave, linen weave or taffeta weave, is the most basic type of weaves.
In plain weave, the warp and weft are aligned so they form a simple criss-cross pattern.
Each weft thread crosses the warp threads by going over one, then under the next, and so on.
The next weft thread goes under the warp threads that its neighbor went over, and vice verse.
2. [ Twill Weave ]: In a twill weave, each weft or filling yarn floats across the warp yarns in a progression of interlaces to the right or left,
forming a distinct diagonal line. This diagonal line is also known as a wale.
A float is the portion of a yarn that crosses over two or more yarns from the opposite direction.
3. [ Plain Dutch Weave ]: similar with plain weave, just the weft and warp wire have different wire diameter and different mesh size.
4. [ Twill Dutch Weave ]: similar with twill weave, just the weft and warp wire have different wire diameter and different mesh size.
5. [ Reversed Dutch Weave ]: difference from standard Dutch weave lies in the thicker warp wires and less weft wires.

MAISHI test meshes before the goods dispatched from our factory to ensure their quality.Make sure customers get perfect quality.
5. Packing
To protect the mesh surface, usually we pack stainless steel wire mesh with:
Paper pipe inside of the mesh --> then waterproof paper --> moist proof paper --> bigger paper pipe -->
poly-wood carton.
Or we can pack as per your request.
6. Application
Stainless steel wire mesh are ideal for use in demanding engineering specifications that require filtration in adverse environmental conditions, such as jet engine lubricant filters or high-pressure hydraulic filters. Stainless mesh is used in all kinds of auto filters, chemical, rubber and plastic products and decorations. What's more, stainless mesh can be rinsed and reused, and is washable for years of use.
