Product Description
LED backlight is used to light LCD,so that LCD graphics can be seen clearly on the dark environment or at night.
Usually,The LED backlight that we said was side-LED backlight. Side-LED backlight can be separated into two types: SMD LED backlight and DIP LED backlight (direct insertion probe).
DIP LED backlight specifications:
LED backlight colors just have white,blue,green,red,orange,amber,yellow and so on. All colors are confirmed by LED colors. You can't specify a special color or send us Pantone color, (Maybe there is no this kind of LED)
If LCD need kinds of colors,then you can use RGB LED backlight. But RGB LED color is not very pure.
Pins should be inserted into PCB holes ans solder them.
If LED backlight is too long,we should install LED at both side of backlight.
Red LED,orange LED,yellow-green LED etc are 1.9-2.1V
Red LED,orange LED,yellow-green LED etc are 15mA/pc
SMD LED backlight specifications:
SMD LED backlight means LEDs are bonded on the PCB.So it is necessary to make PCB mold
1) LED Backlight size: LED backlight size will be decided by LCD size. Usually,LED backlight should be longer than LCD,because LED backlight needs a 5-6mm covering area to covering LED.
2)LED backlight color:
LED backlight colors just have white,blue,green,red,orange,amber,yellow and so on. All colors are confirmed by LED colors. You can't specify a special color or send us Pantone color,then ask us to follow it. (Maybe there is no this kind of LED)

3)Connector:
Wires connection:solder wires on the PCB
PCB Pin connection:PCB pin should be inserted into PCB and solder it.
4)LED numbers:
If LED backlight size is very big,maybe it is necessary to use 2 LED,3 LED,4,5.........
If LED backlight is too long,we should install LED at both side of backlight.
5)LED voltage:
White LED,blue LED,green LED is 3.0-3.2V
Red LED,orange LED,yellow-green LED etc are 1.9-2.0V
6)LED current
White LED,blue LED,green LED is 15 mA/pc
Red LED,orange LED,yellow-green LED etc are 10mA/pc

Pin pitch 2.54mm,;Pin diameter 0.4mm.Pins should be inserted into PCB holes ans solder them.

If LED backlight size is big enough,maybe it is necessary to use 2 LED,3 LED,4,5.........If LED backlight is too long,we should install LED at both side of backlight.
5.LED voltage:
White LED,blue LED,green LED is 3.0-3.3VRed LED,orange LED,yellow-green LED etc are 1.9-2.1V
