DOP production line
1. Reactor
Reactor is the core equipment in DOP production line and is used for esterification reaction. The main reaction in reactor is the esterification reaction of phthalic acid and 2-ethylhexanel to produce DOP.
2. Condenser
Condenser is used to cool the reaction gas and collect the volatilized water. The esterification reaction releases water. Condenser condenses the water vapor into liquid water through cooling water or other media and separates it from the reaction system.
3. Separator / Fractionation Tower
Separator or fractionation tower is used to separate the by-products produced during the reaction, such as unreacted raw materials and low molecular weight by-products. The purity of DOP can be improved through processes such as distillation and fractionation.
4. Dehydration Device
Dehydration device is used to remove the water after the reaction to ensure the completeness of the reaction. The removal of water is a very important step in the esterification reaction. Excessive water may lead to incomplete reaction.
5. Refining Device
Refining device is used to further remove impurities, color, etc. in DOP. The refining process can improve the transparency and purity of DOP to ensure that it meets product standards.
6. Filtration System
It is used to remove solid impurities or unreacted raw materials that may be produced during the producction of DOP. This helps to improve the purities from affecting subsequent processing or use.
7. Cooling Tower
Cooling tower is used to cool the equipment in the entire production line to ensure that the system operates at normal operating temperature.
8. Storage Tank
It is used to store DOP plasticizer finished products. The storage tank is usually sealed to prevent DOP from volatilizing and ensure its quality is not contaminated.
9. Automated Control System
Automated control system is responsible for monitoring and regulating various equipment in the entire DOP production line to ensure that key parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, etc. in the production process remain within the appropriate range.
