Bauxite is one of the principal ore of aluminum.Bauxite contains hydrous aluminum oxides and aluminum hydroxides, formed through the laterization of aluminous rocks in tropical and subtropical areas .Bauxite is obtained by calcining (heating)superior grade bauxite at high temperature (from 850C to 1600C) .this can removes moisture thereby increasing the alumina content.

Classification Introduction:
1.Classified according to the type of bauxite raw materials:
(1) raw bauxite, alumina original ore (natural sedimentary rock class).
(2) the calcined bauxite, the raw bauxite after high temperature calcination (1200 ~ 1700 ºC)
2.Calssified according to the different calcining kiln where the bauxtie is divided into:
(1)Shaft kiln bauxite
(2)Rotary kiln bauxite
(3)Round kiln bauxite
3.Calcined Bauxite according to different uses for division:
(1) the refractory grade bauxite
(2) the grinding grade alumina
(3) the welding grade bauxite
